Cheating Heart

Why is it always the ones you least expect The ones you love and deeply respect. Only to have them rip you apart. By telling you they have a cheating heart. At times it seems love is a waste. And those in love need a slap in the face. I can't trust my heart, it has lead me wrong. Why can't i learn to be strong. To stay away from how i feel. And learn to face what is real. That love is a fairy tale, a stupid lie. I avoid the pain of love, so as to not cry. I avoid love to keep from falling apart. All because of that one cheating heart.
