Chattered Heart

Twenty one years ago, I lost something
And ever since I've been searching
I haven't been able to regain a thing
And so my searching is continuing

I feel lost in a world of facts
What happens matters, at least to one
I try to pretend and put up an act
That life is normal, cause we made a pact

These feelings won't go away
I think that maybe some day
I'll wake up and everything will be okay

That my puzzled heart will be all together
Because at that moment my heart was chattered

I wish that I would know
Which way your heart would go
Because your actions didn't show
So i ask, why was I not enough?
