Chasing the Blues

Dark clouds hover near,
And obscure my view.
Things look dreary,
And I feel so blue.

Suddenly the sun bursts
Forth through the gloom,
And scatters the clouds,
Like a giant broom.

Gone is the darkness…
Light rules the day,
And all the blues
Have been chased away!

Very nice Betty! I am very familiar with this experience. May our sunny days out number the blues!

Dean, I wrote this one when my son was in the hospital in intensive care. With God's help, he came through fine.
