Chasing Lightening Bugs

Chasing lightening bugs
Is something that my sons do as they run
I use to chase them when I was young
And now my sons do as if it's all begun
Put them in a jar
And watch them flash near and far
So bright and free
For us all to see
Catch them quick
And maybe even make a wish
Chasing lightening bugs are here to stay
With every passing Summer day

I remember doing this as a child. Nowadays, I guess "city folk" probably miss out on this experience!
