Chasing a Stranger Dream

Why the hell am I chasing you?
When I know for sure that I am not gonna reach you
When I know for sure that I am not gonna catch you
When I know for sure that I am not gonna make you mine

You left me without giving me a glance
You left me before I take a chance
You are not bothered about who I am
You never tried to know where I am
Why the hell am I chasing you?

Your are  in my sight
But there is always some distance
I  gave my best shot
But you have your ways to escape 
I even tried to speed up
But you never seemed to slow down
Why the hell am I chasing you?

There are times when you stop
There are moments when you raise hope
Somehow I control my joy
But you give a stranger look and say Goodbye
Why do I still think of you
Why do I still think you can be mine
Why the hell am I chasing you?
