Charlie

Depressed again, can’t see the sun.
Sitting here alone in my room,
Staring out of my window sill,
Watching as my life passes me by.
I’m hungry, but can’t eat,
Tired but, can’t get any rest,
Alone but, not wanting anyone.
No one can see me now,
My light has turned to darkness
As I’m sitting in my room,
Watching as my life pass me by,
Thinking about you, as I always do.
Why did you have to leave me now,
And go up to that big ole cloud?
I guess there are plans for you up there,
A better world is where you went.
You could have stayed a little longer,
I could have said I love you a lot sooner.
This just wasn’t the way I wanted it to be,
Taken away from us so fast.
I just want to know why you had to leave me?
