Chaperons and Constellations

so we found refuge beneath a tree you held my arm and wouldn't let go i won't let you go you're not even mine you left me to be his i'm sorry i couldn't be him but i'd rather go chasing someone else then waste my time on something that's not mine i'd do anything 'cause you loved me i shouldn't run 'cause i know you never did but you'd chase years on forever for him and now i can care less about what you did the lies from the cauldron just topple on top of you which excuse do you use now? i wish i were him and do the things we never did experience watching the stars over our heads or cuddle with you by your bed and admit something i never said the shape of the moon is helping the way you're smiling but i can care less because you never loved me i'm tied around my neck with a chain i'd rather be caught stabbed then be your slave again but you'd rather see me stabbed but what do i care, i'm only dreaming so we found refuge beneath a tree you held my arm and i wouldn't let go i will let go of you i won't look back at that place but who would know?
