Chaos

Walked alone
Did I choose?
Headed home
Hung up the fifteenth noose

Sang the end
I didn’t hear
Sang a lie
I’m no longer here

Travelling for dreams
They come from my nightmares
Travelling for lies
I’ll get so far and wonder if I was really there

Watched the sky
I couldn’t see
Felt the fire
It burned in me

Clarity of soul
I’ll hold on to what I can find
Clarity’s not real
Chaos will always be inside
Reflecting the sky
