Changes

A summer’s tree
With winter leafs
Whose colors changed
But will not fall
Perched gently on
A rock hard ground
So dry nothing
Would grow at all

Yet here it stands
She will not yield
Waiting for rain
To feed her soul
If by some chance
No rain appears
Then in the cold
She’ll wait for snow
