Changes

Life comes at you so fast.
Things never seem to last
Things always change
Your life you have to forever rearrange.
The laughter, the tears
Surviving the years
The loss of love ,friends or other
It all tends to smother
It takes a piece of you
Nothing you can do
Life takes pieces along the way
The pain grows each day
Longing to see
Loved ones that used to be
For they still own my heart
From my memories they never did part.
Silent echoes locked inside
So painful , so hard to hide
Must confide
The loss I feel, never to leave
For them all, I still grieve
