Change of Status
Did I hear a welcome softness in you 'Hello,'
an inner warmth transmitted down the line,
is there a reason, should I really know,
has your forecast turned from cloudy into fine?
Has something happened to elevate my hope,#
a deep, dark secret leapt full in to view,
are new horizons promised wider scope
now in the present, and in the future too?
Oh yes I felt the softness in your voice
the inner warmth transmitted down the line,
you know your reason, the warmth is there by choice,
could they, your reasons, be the same as mine.
