Change of Life

Change of Life
My life has lately taken a divergent path,
I have taken a fresh road,
far from the impassioned wanders of my youth.

Today I look for the truth,
    not the sated feeling,
which once sent my senses reeling.

I paid the cost,
    with many years lost,
for my pander locked in amber.

I like it. Very poetic, Terrence. Sadly, we must all grow up sometime, realizing life is not all fun and games.
