Change of Heart
The love we have is so true sweet and rare
breaking my heart was all he ever did
believing him when in his eyes I stare
treated me like crap and called me stupid
Holding me close he keeps me safe and warm
I was dumb how I not see his lies?
Thanking God that someone like him was born
Not there for support or to dry my eyes
love we had he decided to betray
but the happy moments he did give me
after his lies i will no longer stay
i would give him back my heart with the key
how could I not see his dumb little game
i'll never forget how he said my name
