Change Is On the Way

Change is On The Way December 18, 2021

Change is on the way, this time it's here to stay
No more them or us, we'll be Irish everyday
The cruel past we'll remember in the past, it has to stay
Our heroes did not die in vain, was there any other way
We'll have a united future and live it out in peace
We'll celebrate on country with everlasting peace
We'll live in peace together on this lovely land of green
No dark clouds above us, just sunshine without a queen
The walls will crumble, we'll meet new friends
We'll be Irish living on this Island together to the very end
Extend a hand of freedom, twenty-six plus six
Ireland is one nation, welcome to the mix
Change is on the way, this time it's here to stay
No more them or us, we'll be Irish everyday

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
