Change
Forces its way to take part in my life
Makes its demands and cuts like a knife
Alters the lives of the people I love
Enslaves me more than the heavens above.
Takes its time and thinks not of others
Strong enough to destroy a bond between brothers.
Uses illusions to reel in its victims
Leaves them astonished and unaware of the symptoms.
Nothing can stop its immortal lies and
No one can challenge its overheard cries.
But all in all,
Sacrifices must be made
Debts and bills must be paid
Change must be faced without regret
But in my life, change i will never let.
If it breaks my pain and misery,
...then change in my life will set me free.
