Chance At Happiness
If you are happy, then there is nothing else to say.
That is all it comes down to during the day.
But some people will act like you are prey.
They see your happiness and want it to decay.
But how dare they lead you astray.
And how dare you let them take it away.
The only thing that matters is what you feel in your heart.
Its like painting a beautiful piece of art.
The end is what you want it to be, but it can't end if it doesn't start.
Look deep inside yourself and be confident, because you know you're smart.
You want this, so why move on and have to restart?
No one can take away your happiness, unless you let them take you apart.
Nothing else matters, except what you want to try.
Now look in the mirror and see yourself eye to eye.
You feel it in your heart, and it doesn't matter why.
Somehow love struck you and you feel you can fly.
So give it a chance, even though it may make you cry.
At least you didn't let the opportunity pass you by.
