Chance

Are our lives meant to be?
Or are they better left to chance?
Is it love? Is it real?
How could I have ever known
you would leave me here?

For a moment wasn't I queen?
But I'm glad I didn't know
I couldn't have dealt with the pain
For a moment didn't everything seem right?
But I left it all to chance
I left it to kill me I left it to die

And looking back, I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end
We might have changed it all
We might have took a chance
We could have flew instead of fall

But for a moment weren't you king?
I'm sure you didn't know
You could have missed the pain
And for a moment wasn't everything right?
But it's all better left to chance
Because I'm not ready for us to die
