Chains, Be Not Proud
Chains, be not proud, for you shan't contain me!
Gloat not, week chains. I will break free from thee!
Unbreakable? Mighty? Thou art not so!
Not one impossible to overthrow!
Shackle me down?! These chains never will, no!
Of my freedom, never shall I let go!
And discouragement—here, thou shalt not dwell
My dream is enough to destroy you well!
Thou art not my master—thou has not might!
And gone thou shall be, right this very night!
For when I see the sun's art of crimson,
I know—this prison is a delusion!
Chains, be not proud—my dream won't be taken!
Thou art shalt be gone! Thou shall be broken!
