Chained To Abuse
If you let me walk alone
Beneath the silver moon
To hear the softness of the breeze
The sound of cricket’s swoon
I shall praise your trusting soul
I’ll wander through the years
I’ll learn to put aside the hate
That led my life of tears
But I am watched and not alone
Between these hollowed halls
Not aloud to wander free
I’m chained to bloody walls
You have brought me in this world
You gave me useless life
Mother, what I want much more
Is freedom from my strife
Release me now and I shall not
Speak witness to your crime
I’ll simple vanish like the wind
Unwind the ruthless time
Can’t you hear me through the door?
I scream with every breath!
If my life shall not be saved
I welcome tattered death!
