Cessation

a smile in the darkness draws me near
pull me in and we can disappear

reading between the lines
on train tracks
in teeth
the way we smile

Carved out memories to remember your eyes
and the feel of how things might have been

lost between us now we try
To pick up where we left these issues of mine
waiting for the sun shine.
