Certainty

Isn't truth framed irony?
Muddy, bloody and feisty!

Feel then that strange certainty
Anchor deep uncertainty

To know this paradox then
Is to glimpse the truth just when

You must unshackle your chains
Forged by your own craft of pain

Love is the wisest pleasure
A treasure beyond measure

But the road you take breaks you
No matter what you now do

Discern knowing that comes through
Yes that sacrifice heals you

Your earthly passage through time
A sojourn in space that chimes

Certainty abides in change
How is this moment so strange?
