Ceremony
Ceremony is a time to heal
A time to comprehend what is real
To know yourself and life altogether
To learn things to take with you forever
It's a time to answer questions of confusion
To find answers and conclusions
To express yourself in ways you could have never done
To sing, dance, and have bundles of fun
It's a time to socialize and tell stories
To be told of people's defeats and glories
To sing songs of the sacred and of healing
Songs that are filled with intense feeling
To dance to the rhythm of the drum
To feel so alive that your numb
To be here is to be lost in thought
To be in a world where you can't be fought
Just to feel safe and secure
And to be away from the pain you'll endure
