CELESTIAL BODIES
CELESTIAL BODIES
The moon is silver
It is a pale reflection
As sunlight is gold
The sun and moon come out to play
Appearing as if newly born
But only at start and end of day
At other times they hide away
And rarely do have much to say
But mainly when it’s dusk or dawn
The sun and moon come out to play
Appearing as if newly born
Is one the master, and the other merely a slave
The friendly moon now can welcome mankind to stay awhile
The sun too hot and powerful to visit, but gives life
