Celebrity

He walks around my neighborhood And no one gives a glance, Though crowds would surely show If they had notice in advance. He’s always studying a script And reading as he’s strolling, But no one stops for autographs Or fawning or extolling. I see his face on advertisements For his TV show; In person he looks just the same, His tan the perfect glow. I wonder if this actor, though, Is miffed or just surprised That he walks the streets where he resides And goes unrecognized.
