Celebration of Seasons

Every morning the nights ice becomes thinner
Visibility through the fog clearer
Those in hibernation begin to stir
The end of winter is getting nearer
Once snow capped mountains now show new growth
Beautiful fragrant blooms start to blossom
Garden beds full of vibrant color
The chill of winter now forgotten
Springtime brings with it new life
Land plowed and ready for vegetation
Lambs and calves now being born
It's time for a celebration
Winter time it's cold and wet
Balancing the seasons indeed
But as winter ends it introduces spring
The cycle of seasons guaranteed
