Cedar Cabin

A new neighbor has moved in
On the country place
How do I know, I saw him
Check out the space

It is a small cedar cabin
Above the grassy lawn
There food is plentiful again
Each day a chorus at dawn

He is secretive and quiet
Slips in and out his door
Gathers bugs for their diet
Dew for their water source

This was a good poem Sara. I assume that you were writing about a spider. But now comes the hard part. The critique. I'm lost in the "he" and "their". In the spider world it is usually the female that hunts for the food to feed the young ones. I also think that this poem had more to offer. There should have been more stanzas. My mind is spinning with additions. If you would like to hear them, let me know. I don't want to ever step on anyones poetry. Thanks for making me think. Rockman :-)
