Cat's Eye

CAT'S EYE

In the pegmatite seams that vein many ancient rocks
Rhombic crystals of chrysoberyl the mineral mosaic locks
Their off-white silky sheen begins to slowly flourish
As the dull and rough crystals get expert artisans’ polish
Unique chemical bonding imparts mystique translucence
Brings out the gem’s refracted internal optical essence
On their face moves bands of light, a glowing property
That makes them dazzle with precious flashing beauty
Astrology avers they protect from dangers and diseases
Bestow abrupt wealth coming from unexpected sources
If you have belief in this, this gem you need not buy
For you already have a deep-set pair of shining cat’s eye.

*Cat’s eye gem is made of chrysoberyl mineral

A gelogist's eye has become poetic in this superb creation... Congrats
