Catharsis
It is a catharsis for me to write poems that rhyme.
If you don’t read them, it’s just a crime.
Some poems are sad, about a love now gone.
Others are about funny experiences that I draw upon.
Getting the poem down on paper is intensely gratifying,
And seeing the views on PoetrySoup is very satisfying!
Poem ideas dance in my head before the day is done.
I’m so glad I joined PoetrySoup… it is a lot of fun!
