Caterpillar and other Aussie Wildlife

There's a caterpillar on my guitar
he's looking very hairy
but I don't find him scary
I wonder if he's dancing
 to a wild country beat
I don't know how he'd do it
he's got do many feet
He's got a groovy little body
and a big orange face
I wonder if he's singing
as he goes from place to place
There's a caterpillar on my guitar

There's a little green tree frog on my car
She's got long skinny legs
and sticky little feet
She can move across a ceiling
don't you think that's rather neat
And when she hopped away
she travelled for a metre
Escaping from a bird
who is trying to catch and eat her
There's a little green tree frog on my car

There's a bandicoot who sneaks around at night
He's got a grey furry body
and a long pointy nose
He's digging up my plants
everywhere he goes
There's a bandicoot who sneaks around at night

There's a wallaby who nibbles on my plants
He hops in leaps and bounds
as he moves across the grounds
There's a wallaby who nibbles on my plants

There's a striped possum on a paw paw tree
He's got a black bushy tail
and his body's grey and white
The only time you see him '
is the middle of the night
There's a striped possum on a paw paw tree

there's a python on a mango branch
She very long and thin
and not far from the house
I think it must be breakfast
'cause she's feeding on a mouse
There's a python on a mango branch

There's a lizard in my garden bed
He's watching all the ants
'cause he's waiting to be fed
It's very early morning
and he's just got out of bed

There' a tube nose fruit bat near the deck
She has a large coloured face
but her body's very small
She's hanging upside down
I hope she doesn't fall
There's a Tube Nose fruit bat near the deck
