Catching Butterflies
Wander over yonder they say
For my dreams are no more then a swish and a sway
In my dream comes that day
Where I met you saying hey
From that point on I would've traveled
Through a blizzard and the harshest of gravel
To stand beyond a place far out of reach
To so I would withstand
Hell to hold your hand
The moments came where the seas got rough and the earth shook
To say the least the chances were taken
And for that I wish I was mistaken
For when the highest mountain crumpled
You wen't away as it rumbled
The only thing I wanted to notice
Was the grasp of the soul within your smile
Where you are is more than miles
For no distance is great enough for the chance to stay a while
In these moments where the time of ache and longing comes
The butterflies flutter and roam
Over a place where the impossible is possible
Within your arms is where they stay
And within this dream, reality awakens.
