Catch a Falling Star

Goodbye
Is harder today than yesterday
Yet harder still tomorrow.
We dare someone to find a jar
To bottle up our sorrow.
How sweet it is to say "So long"
To endless yesteryears.
But Shakes himself cannot express
The love we shed through tears.

So take a look up in the sky
And see our sparkling throne,
Our crowns of glory shining bright,
Where we have made our home.
Our legacy is sealed up high,
But we won't be that far.
Just take a moment to look up
And catch that falling star.

You never cease to amaze me good friend. A farewell is never easy but it does denote an expression of good wishes at parting. And yes, we can all look up to that 'star' and reminisce.
