Cat and Sky Beach Oh My
Perfect white circle moon brings a dot of cool to the glowing hot sky
Orange and pink fire streams, showing the world’s most amazing heat
Mr. Willow, my prettiest tom cat, lounging on sand, gives a sigh.
I see fallen angel in the sky streams, she looks harried and beat.
Mr. Willow digs down a bit harder, enjoying the August beach.
I watch my neighbors enjoy the last days of summer, hearing them.
Our vacation is almost over, resuming work is clearly within reach.
For now, Mr. Willow and I are relaxing where we came on a whim.
Hawaii! You are taking Mr. Willow to Hawaii! My friends were aghast.
I smile as I remember their reactions, but the die was already cast.
I hear Mr. Willow take another sigh and see him close one eye.
Vacation of a life time, we will forever remember this beach and sky.
