Case Closed
Case closed
I was locked in my closet
Thinking deeply with so much fear
Eyes pregnant with a load of tears
In between the four walls, I sob
But my mind insists, saying
Peace be still
If God is involved, then
Case closed!
Arise, my mind commands
How long is too long,
How far is too far?
Not more than the distance between my knees and the ground
If I could kneel to muster some prayers, then
Case closed!
Enemies far more than the friends
Even the friends, which one could be trusted?
Some are envious of our success
Some spitting out phlegm but harbouring bloody plans
How have we ever wronged them?
Should we go poor so as not to be envied?
Or appear to be a dullard so as to level up with them?
Are we to roll in our beds till 12pm, to be lazy just like they do all days?
We are what we are by his mercy
If he could be merciful on us?
Then, case closed!
Every day we live seeing none as a rival
They thought we are out for a competition
They try to buy whatever we wear
Eat whatever they see us eat
Aren't we all unique in our makings ?
We can do same things in a different ways
Pitiable they r running after our shadow
We fly like the birds in the sky, flying without collision, the sky is enough
But even if they attempted to get rid of us
We will fight praying to our God
With that, we surely believe
Case closed
Case closed
Files burnt
We are settled in his grace, our success can't be traced
Let the whole world continually be amazed
Of how limitless we enjoy thy grace!
Hearts in peace, with your love and strength
We believe ...........our cases are settled,
Oh, yes!
Case closed.
