When the pressures of life bring on sadness And you're lonely and feeling withdrawn And your life doesn't seem like it's worth it Well believe me it is, carry on We are each given life for a reason It's a God given gift from beyond The choice is not ours, when it's over So don't ever give up, carry on If you think giving up is the answer And the pain and frustrations too strong Believe me my friend, you have the strenght from within Just pick yourself up, carry on There were times in my life filled with heartache Nights so dark, never thought I'd see dawn Then a voice from within said don't ever give in Better days days are ahead, carry on When my time here on Earth is completed And the breath in my body is gone Then I'll lay down and rest for the last time But until then I'll just carry on
