Notes About The Poem

Carried By The Wind

As my prayers were carried by the wind, I cried, and tears pooled deep within my heart. All the hopes upon which our dreams were pinned; subsequently started falling apart. And as anxiety's climb got its start, I began to feel faith was not enough. I always knew your passing would be tough: yet I was devastated when you died. And I have to admit grief can be rough: it's constantly tearing me up inside.
