Carousel

Laying here, gasping for air Praying to God, is this the end? It seemed to only be a game, now I'm tortured and broken with no mend. Round and round the carousel spins, Round and round, baby. Been spinning so long, Everything you do seems shady My only pleasures left are Booze, drugs and a razor's blade. Hoping to God, begging, pleading, Let the misery fade. Round and round it spins, Round and round baby Been spinning so long Everything you do is shady. Taking another hit I tell myself You can't tell how I'm disgraced Taking another drink, seeing My lastest mistake. Round and round, Been spinning so long Round and round Hoping it won't be long Innocence is out of style Gone with yesterday There's now only temptations And no God to pray to My only pleasures left are Booze, drugs and a razor's blade. Maybe someday, This misery with fade
