Carnival
Carnival
A traveling carnival came to town one day
Setting up their finest rides all on display
This carnival was different new and exciting
No one could resist it was all so inviting
Blinded by the lights they came in droves
All wanting to be first to see the show
Showing no regard for their fellow man
Pride took over where love use to stand
A man at the entrance with a welcoming grin
Opened the gate and said “let the fun begin”
Blissfully unaware going from ride to ride
The man locked the gate all trapped inside
Unaware of the evil that lurks inside these gates
All fueled from pride, arrogance and hate
All of you thought a carnival came to town
But really it’s for fools the devil’s playground
