Caring Is Hurting
When you care for something it leaves you open for hurt,
Like running into a battle of blades wearing only a shirt,
In the peak of your joy when you find that what you care for is suddenly gone,
Painful emotions erupt and you feel that you cant go on,
To protect yourself from this kind of feeling,
And always having to hide until your completely done healing,
Just decide it's safer if you just dont care,
You can then look at everything with the same cold stare
