Friends, like candles, enable you to see personal faults through sympathetic eyes, and never flicker should you disagree. Even subjected to the third degree they're loyal, unwilling to compromise, friends, like candles, enable you to see. Offering their unflinching friendship free, they don't criticize; they revitalize, and never flicker should you disagree. Applauding your accomplishments with glee; when others are out to trivialize, friends, like candles, enable you to see. Caretakers of your heart; they are the key, nurturing virtues you don't recognize and never flicker should you disagree. Pushing you to be all that you can be, they'll even defend your outrageous lies. Friends, like candles, enable you to see and never flicker should you disagree.
