Carer

Oh carer carer I know your here to help me.
I can hear you, just about see you.

I'm here
I'm not dead yet.

Oh carer carer I was once your age, full of hope.
I was a mother a sister a lover.

Oh carer carer my mind is going, I know it's showing.
I used to be a teacher, a friend. I feel like I'm gong around the bend.

I'm here
I'm not dead yet.

Oh carer carer I'm grateful to you, but here me out listen to me.
I was once your age full of hope and dreams.

I used to be a wife a lover of life. You feed me and wash me. Who am I?

Oh carer carer your going soon.
I'll be left here all alone in this room.
