Captured With Pride

Feet are running across
The hard, brutal forest floor
The chained ones try not to fall
Risking someone hearing their call
A flare goes off in the distance
Weapons are loaded
The signal is resistance
The crunching leaves
Sound as loud as glass breaking
The men will not go on their knees
They're not going to be taken
They will not beg and please
Shots are fired
The chains are wired
Everybody's tired
But we will not give up this flag
Standing strong
We know right from wrong
This flag is ours!
