Captured Heart

*Inspired by the photo

I hid behind the waterfall
Waiting for you to arrive
In the cove I had found,
From the sea, to stay alive

For many years ago
You captured my heart
Since then, nothing has changed
While we’ve been apart

I know one day this sea
Will bring you here into my arms
In this hiding place, with me
Like a million lucky charms

As the water falls before us
And the sea sings our song
Everything will be made right
From anything gone wrong

And as the sun sets upon us
We will bask in its glow
You will capture my heart again
I know, I just know…
