Captivate Me

Captivate me, your eyes start to roll and I’ve heard that sigh once before,
Carry me down, their opinions gutter in the back of my mind and I’m lying here
buried on the floor,
I swore over and over again their words matter to me not anymore
Infectious details don’t enthrall the passion that we endorse

Captivate me, your mind starts to wonder what your eyes are beginning to see
Love I thought was lucid, it only matters what’s between you and me
I’ll love you down, deep into the ocean waves crash into what you want to believe
Lustful eyes don’t bother me, my vision isn’t perfect, but my heart’s still ruling
passionately
