Yes. As we get older we see the many capers of life, dear Gert. And for those of us who look at the glass and see it half full, we remain grateful for our memories of yesterday! Lovely Senryu! Love, Annalise

yet another grrreat stuff that eloquently speaks of nostalgia's language.. are you sure you're not filipino, lol.. the word " imahe" is very deep and used sparingly by us.. it's spanish though, then again, i marvel at the way you can express yourself in our national tongue.. :) huggs, nette

Very nostalgic and beautiful senryu, Gert. Thanks to you, I could almost translate the Spanish version, but the German one in this case was harder, but for the second line. Maybe those bygone times are haunting many of us. Excellent work, my friend. Love, Carolyn

Very mysterious - memories through a scrim. Beautiful. As usual, I also love the sound of the Spanish. I don't know German at all. I had to read El Sombrero de Tres Picos one time for a class. ONe of the most charming stories.. Also love the opera by De Falla. Love, Dave
