Can'T Leave It Behind

Not thinking twice

Feeling like she is in the hands of a vice

This terrible bind

Not caring all that she may leave behind

Doesn't know what to do

Feeling like your all she can hold on to

She doesn't know what to feel

Nothing ever seems to feel real

That pain is just to much to bear

She hides herself behind a veil

Her strife feels so long

No where does she belong

She holds the blade it's in her grip

A flood of memories as she is about to slip

All the good things in her life

Brought straight into the light

The people who she forgot to tell goodbye

She's on the edge and about to cry

Brings the knife to her skin

But let's it fall and lights go dim

Crying hard and feeling bad

She knows all her friends would have been so sad

She can't do it she never would

She couldn't imagine what would have happened if she could

She spared her life because of what was right

In that deciding moment she saw the light

So her life it did not end

It was just about to turn around and begin
