Will someone please
Please God please
Get her out of my mind

So happy and my life’s complete
Everytime I get near you, you look so sweet
Gotta run away from you everytime
And I just can’t get you out my mind

Smile so bright you light up the room
Wanna taste those lips so soon
But it’s so wrong and it aint right
Holding back with all my might

On the other side of the coin
Found a girl and we got joined
A couple of kids and great big house
It’d be over if the words came out of my mouth

She loves me a lot and I gotta admit
I don’t think she’d ever get over it
This is starting to tear me up inside
But its better me than my bride

I guess we’ll never know and that’s alright
Just wanted you to know you brighten up my life
For now that will have to be enough
It’s really complicated, all this stuff

It’s not worth destroying everything I have
Awfully selfish, it’s kind of sad
Maybe in another life
You could have been my wife

So happy now and my life’s complete
Everytime I get near you, you look so sweet
Gotta run away and try to find
Some way to get you off my mind

Will someone please
Please God please
Get her out of my mind

It is exciting to see the replenishment of new poetry here everyday when I log on. I enjoy the diverse poetry so I am never bored by most of what I read. I am happy to have read your poetry this morning. I hope that you might be able to find the time to read some of the other poetry here also. Love, Carol
