Candle

Candle flame flickers;
Symbol of love and devotion.
Constant as time;
Fluid like the ocean.
A mother’s love knows no boundaries.
Trouble and worries she seeks to ease.
She is there when her children are in peril.
Real or imagined dangers, she is quite rabid and even feral.
Her love is base and raw.
Her heart is on display for all.
The Truest love sent from heaven itself;
Where angels might hesitate, she will walk through Hell, herself.
She will keep her children safe and sound.
A mother’s love is truly profound.
She will battle Demons, no matter the cost.
What is gained outweighs what is lost.
Her love is steadfast, persistent, and true.
A mother’s love always shines through.
