Canadian By Birth
Methinks I'll write about snow today
It's a subject about which I've known
Canadian by birth, so snow is no stranger
As a kid many snowballs I've thrown
But now that I'm old, damn snow's a pain
Winter without snow would be grand
Driving in snow, our lives are in jeopardy
Perhaps a hospital visit unplanned
Who was the first to say, “snow is beautiful”
Snow has no redeeming factors
Causes accidents and all kinds of bad stuff
I'm the biggest damn snow detractor
It has no redeeming factors that I can see
You can't cook it, can't fry it, no use
Just lies there causing a whole bunch of crap
I've actually fallen on my caboose
So the sooner it's spring the better I say
And survive another winter season
Not looking forward to the next three months
Mr. Summertime Man, that's the reason
(lol)
