Can You Hear the Silence
Can you hear the silence
Can you hear
the sound
a pen makes
as it falls
to the floor
Can you hear
the breeze
go gently by
as you
open the door
Can you hear
music playing
on the radio
and
sounds
from a tv
show
Can you hear
drops of water
rolling down
the drain
and
leaves rustling
over the terrain
Can you hear
its name
Can you hear the silence
