Can you hear my breaking heart

For those who feel invisible. One of the key things that leads to relationship breakdowns is when people feel invisible. In a world where people are increasingly glued to some form of device, this disconnect is rising.

Try to remember to connect with each other every day. Don't take each other for granted. Show you care.

You might just save a life!

A new song to inspire you!

Can you hear my breaking heart?
By Michelle Morris

I stood in the middle of the room
And wondered if anyone saw me
Everyone watching something
Everyone distracted from their lives

A room filled with loved ones
A family unit where we were meant to be together
And yet each person became an island
A distant place where no love reached

Because those islands were fortresses
Every distant moment building walls
Until we were invisible to each other
Lonely people who felt forlorn

Can you see me? Can you see me?
Can you see that I'm on fire?
Can hear me? Can you hear me?
Can you hear my soul crying?

Can you feel me? Can you feel me?
Can you feel the connection we had at the start?
Can you hear it? Can you hear it?
Can you hear my breaking heart?

There's nothing to be done here
Yet there's so much we could've tried
This living past each other
The secrets and the lies

I once felt a kinship
I once felt a little spark
But then I realised it was my hope
Trying to light up the dark

Every room we filled with stuff
Every moment and memory
It all turned to ash in my mouth
Because nothing was truly free

Can you see me? Can you see me?
Can you see that I'm on fire?
Can hear me? Can you hear me?
Can you hear my soul crying?

Can you feel me? Can you feel me?
Can you feel the connection we had at the start?
Can you hear it? Can you hear it?
Can you hear my breaking heart?

And now we live on our islands
It's survival of the coldest
Because we're isolating our emotions
Feeling nothing but our entertainment

That television and that laptop
That mobile phone and tablet
Gadget upon gadget
Forgetting we're human beings

Nothing can replace us
Our worth is more than riches
When you lose someone you love
You realise how irreplaceable love is

Can you see me? Can you see me?
Can you see that I'm on fire?
Can hear me? Can you hear me?
Can you hear my soul crying?

Can you feel me? Can you feel me?
Can you feel the connection we had at the start?
Can you hear it? Can you hear it?
Can you hear my breaking heart?

Oh... Oh... Oh...

Can you hear it? Can you hear it?
Can you hear my breaking heart?
Oh can you hear it? Can you hear it?
Can you hear my broken heart?
